Acknowledging the user's challenge in accessing specific releases, we proactively addressed this issue by implementing an advanced search and filtering option. This enhancement empowers the user to pinpoint and access the exact releases they seek, providing a more tailored and user-friendly experience.
In the meticulous process of enhancing our dashboard functionality, we encountered the challenge of determining which categories to incorporate into the advanced search and filtering option. Recognizing the diverse needs of our users, we undertook a thorough evaluation to pinpoint the most relevant and impactful categories for inclusion.
After careful consideration, we decided to integrate:
Search options for categories named: Open search(common search), Identifier, Release, Track, Artist, Project, Label.
Filter options for categories named: Media format, Configuration, Label group, Release date, Release date, Submitted date.
These choices were driven by the understanding that users often seek releases based on temporal factors, the creators behind them, and specific configurations associated with each release.
By including these key categories in our search functionality, we aim to provide users with a comprehensive and nuanced approach to accessing the releases they desire. This thoughtful selection not only aligns with common user preferences but also ensures that our advanced search and filtering option becomes a versatile tool, catering to a broad spectrum of user requirements. This strategic decision reflects our commitment to delivering a user-centric dashboard experience, where intuitive navigation and tailored searches converge to streamline the retrieval of information, ultimately contributing to an enriched user experience.
